SUBSIDIES CAN HELP YOU TO PAY FOR TRAINING
AVAILABLE
FITEC may pay some of the costs involved with training. Subsidies are worked out between employers and Forest Industries Training, and they depend on which unit standards the trainee or apprentice plans to complete over a 12-month period.
As a rule, a subsidy will be available if:
- The trainee or apprentice has a current Training Agreement registered with FITEC
- The trainee or apprentice is training for unit standards that are in the qualification specified in the Training Agreement.
